This is a photo that means a lot to me. It represents 70 years of Huntington journalism. George Frye, in the center, started at the Herald-Press in 1938, and held just about every position at the paper, including sports editor, for which he was best known. He retired in 1985 and died in 2001. Bob Hammel, on the left, was sports editor at the Herald-Press for 10 years before landing in Bloomington where he became one of the best sportswriters in the country. I started at the Herald-Press in 1987, and was there until 2008. For me, it's a humbling photo to be in such great company.
