For those not familiar with the reference of my blog title, Fredo is one of the brothers of the Corleone crime family in the "Godfather" movies. Despite his declaration "I'm smart! Not dumb like everybody says!," Fredo is not the brightest of the brothers and makes a few mistakes along the way. He eventually accepts his position in the family under the leadership of his younger brother, Michael, and settles into an idyllic life of fishing every day on Lake Tahoe. Well, mostly.

So this  blog celebrates all the Fredos, who aren't perfect, but who still say a "Hail, Mary" and hope to catch a fish.
